Founded by Bex Ingram, GB Disabled Strongman was created to expand opportunities for disabled athletes and to showcase their strength, resilience, and talent on a level playing field with their able-bodied counterparts.

Following highly successful years of events at the Arnold Sports Festival UK in 2021 and 2022, the organisation began its journey into the mainstream sporting spotlight, Introducing Englands Strongest Disabled Man in 2023, 2024 and 2025, As well as the Magnus Ver Magnuson Adaptive World Championships!

Today, GB Disabled Strongman is proudly run by Bex Ingram and Alfie Scott, four-time World’s Strongest Disabled Woman. Together, they are committed to growing the sport, empowering athletes, and creating elite-level competitions that inspire both participants and audiences alike.

Since the launch of the expanded series in late 2022, GB Disabled Strongman has seen incredible growth, delivering successful events throughout the years to the largest crowds in its history. With continued momentum, 2026 is set to be the biggest year yet.
