GB DisaBled Strongman
A New Era for Disabled Sports
Disabled sports have for years sat in the shadows of the able bodied counterparts however, many such as the The Paralympics, Invictus Games and World Cup Wheelchair Rugby have broken the mould and made it into mainstream media and prime time TV slots.
Our dream here at GB Disabled Strongman is to bring our sport into this mainstream and compete on a near level playing field with our able bodied compatriots, bringing the recognition our athletes deserve and growing the sport throughout Great Britain, Europe and The Globe.
With Martin and Bex at the helm the shows continued to grow, the weights continued to increase and the athlete numbers continued to expand and as such GB Disabled Strongman was launched in late 2022. This enabled them as a team to continue to grow the sport alongside all those that have been working tirelessly over the years running their own competitions.
GB Disabled Strongman has already gained great interest with 3 shows booked within a month of inception and a further 3 major events completed in 2023 seeing the biggest footfall in the history of disabled strength.
Not only that, we have already attended one major Expo in 2024 and are in the final planning stages to bring the biggest disabled show to one of the biggest fitness expos globally in the latter part of 2024.
